PHOENIX — Northbound Interstate 17 freeway in Phoenix have reopened after closing Sunday morning due to a law enforcement incident, authorities said.

The closure started around 6:25 a.m. at Dunlap Avenue, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.

ADOT announced the freeway’s reopening shortly before 7:10 a.m.

The southbound lanes were unaffected by the closure. No other information was made available.
