Part of Camelback Road closed after serious collision in West Valley

PHOENIX – A section of Camelback Road was closed after a collision in the West Valley on Wednesday morning, authorities said.

At least one person suffered life-threatening injuries in the collision near 93rd Avenue and Camelback in Glendale, near Copper Canyon High School, according to the Glendale Police Department.

Camelback Road was closed in both directions between 91st and 95th avenues for cleanup and investigative purposes, police said. There was no estimated time for reopening.
