West Valley comfort food restaurant Haymaker reveals expansion plans

Haymaker, a family-owned restaurant with deep West Valley roots, is expanding its footprint by opening opportunities for franchise partners.

Thirteen years ago, the first Haymaker opened to serve barbeque, omelets, salads, meatloaf and more. Now there are four locations: one in Goodyear, one in Buckeye and two in Peoria.

Westside Concepts, the company behind Haymaker restaurants, plans to award its first franchise agreements this year. The company’s goal is to sign two to three franchisees within a year.

The company is looking for qualified franchisees throughout Arizona. Owner-operators who align with the brand’s family-focused values are encouraged to apply — especially military veterans and family entrepreneurs.

In fact, supporting veteran ownership is a top priority for the company, which is offering exclusive incentives to qualifying U.S. armed forces veterans, subject to verification of service, qualifications and franchise disclosure document terms.

Franchise partners will receive direct support and mentorship from Haymaker’s leadership team as the brand expands throughout Arizona — and potentially beyond, though no specific out-of-state plans have been announced.
