Five new stores are coming to Tempe Marketplace, adding more than 25,000 square feet of fashion, outdoor and wellness retail to the open-air center.
The expansion includes first Valley locations for Carhartt and outdoor brand KUIU, as well as new stores for Coach, Tommy Hilfiger and Glo Tanning.
Carhartt, known for its durable workwear and outdoor apparel, is now open in a 6,000-square-foot space, marking its first stand alone retail location in the Phoenix metro area.
Later this summer, performance hunting and outdoor brand KUIU will open its first Arizona store. The 6,000-square-foot space marks a physical expansion for the brand, which has operated primarily under a mostly online model.
“The addition of these nationally recognized brands reinforces Tempe Marketplace’s role as a destination where shoppers can discover the latest in fashion, outdoor and lifestyle experiences,” Taylor Alvey, vice president of leasing at Vestar, said in a press release.
Shoppers can also expect major fashion additions later in the year. American luxury brand Coach and lifestyle brand Tommy Hilfiger are both scheduled to open in late 2026. Both stores will be located in the strip between Lululemon and J.Crew.
Coach will occupy a 4,500-square-foot storefront showcasing its signature leather goods and apparel, and Tommy Hilfiger will fill a nearly 6,000-square-foot space featuring its men’s and women’s lines.
Also opening in late 2026 is Glo Tanning, a 3,000-square-foot luxury sun spa offering UV tanning, spray tans and red light therapy services.
Located near the intersection of Loop 101 and Loop 202 at 2000 E. Rio Salado Parkway, the 1.3 million-square-foot Tempe Marketplace features more than 100 retail and dining options.
