GILBERT — IT’S BO TIME! A representative from Bojangles shared with ABC15 that their Gilbert location is scheduled to open this summer.
The original opening date for the Gilbert location was scheduled for July 14. However, a company representative informed ABC15 that the new opening date is now set to Monday, July 20 at 5 a.m.
If you’ve enjoyed Bojangles in other states and are seeking bone-in chicken, note that it will not be available at the new Gilbert location or upcoming Arizona stores. The company has indicated they will only serve boneless chicken.
A representative for the company shared with ABC15 that recent locations to open and “adopt this model” include Oklahoma City, Grand Rapids, Michigan, and Manor, Texas.
“This approach allows Bojangles to deliver its most popular menu items while streamlining operations in emerging markets. It also supports faster, more efficient service while maintaining the high-quality, made-from-scratch flavors and Southern hospitality guests expect from the brand,” read the statement sent to ABC15 Arizona explaining their strategy.

Okay chain, but bring back the bones! Great song however.
What were you doing in NC? My mother's family's from there. Tobacco farmers in the Whiteville area.
Boneless chicken is very wasteful. Surprised you and yours aren't protesting. Blocking the freeways. Shooting CEOs in the back (the cowardly Democrat Socialist way!) Air conditioned stores and processing factories. The horror. Also hurts the poor chickens.
