2 dead, 1 hospitalized following crash in north Phoenix

Two people have died and another was hospitalized after a single-vehicle crash in north Phoenix on Friday morning, authorities said.

PHOENIX — Two people have died and another was hospitalized after a single-vehicle crash in north Phoenix on Friday morning, authorities said.

According to the Phoenix Police Department, officers responded to a crash call near 32nd Street and Bell Road around 2:40 a.m.

Upon arrival, officers found a woman and two men involved in the crash with injuries.

All three were taken to a hospital, where the woman — 34-year-old Tia Alicia Reid — died from her injuries.

The two men were hospitalized in critical condition.

One of them, 45-year-old Daniel Kropachev, died from his injuries, police said in a Monday update.

Authorities determined the vehicle was heading northbound on 32nd Street when it left the roadway and collided with a pole.

The investigation remains ongoing.
