PHOENIX – Crews located a body Monday while searching for a person who went missing at Tempe Town Lake the previous night.
The search was launched after a person who was seen entering the water on Sunday night failed to resurface, according to the Tempe Police Department.
The body of a man was pulled from the lake around 10:30 a.m. Monday. He was identified later as 24-year-old James Carson. Authorities don’t know why he entered the lake.
