20-year-old extradited from Ohio in connection with murder of woman left in Phoenix baseball fields

PHOENIX — A man suspected of murdering a woman and leaving her body in a Phoenix baseball field in 2024 was recently extradited from Ohio, authorities said.

Jayden Frost, 20, was booked into a Valley jail on Dec. 31, according to the Phoenix Police Department.

The 20-year-old is accused of murdering Margaret Williams, a 21-year-old woman whose body was found in the baseball fields near 40th Street and Ray Road on Dec. 7, 2024, police said.

When Williams’ body was first discovered, authorities said there were no signs of trauma.

However, her death was ruled a homicide after an investigation by the Medical Examiner’s Office.
