Investigation underway after climber fatally falls into Sedona cave
An investigation is underway after a man died Saturday from injuries sustained in a fall at a cave in Sedona, authorities said.

An investigation is underway after a man died Saturday from injuries sustained in a fall at a cave in Sedona, authorities said.
According to the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office, officers responded to a call around 1:30 p.m. about a climber who fell inside Keyhole Cave, near Sugarloaf Trailhead.
Upon arrival, officers found a man in his 50’s who had fallen while “rappelling” to the cave floor. Another climber attempted life-saving efforts, but the man died.
No foul play was suspected in the incident, authorities said.
The man’s fall remains under investigation.
