Prospective cashiers, servers, cooks and utility workers can also apply online at Sauce’s careers page.

The restaurant built near University Drive and Mill Avenue is Sauce’s first in Tempe and ninth in the Phoenix area.

The new spot will have an atmosphere familiar to fans of the chain’s other locations plus elements unique to Tempe.

The 2,960-square-foot space will feature a patio and a partly open kitchen layout with a gas-fired pizza oven as its focal point.

Sauce serves pizza, sandwiches, pasta, salads and more plus a variety of beer and wine.

In addition the Valley locations, Sauce has four restaurants in Tucson plus three in Texas and one in New Mexico.
