SAFE Alert canceled for missing 21-year-old man last seen in Glendale

Authorities canceled a SAFE Alert Monday after a missing 21-year-old man was found safe.

When alert was first issued, Abraham Cabrera went missing near 75th and Pasadena avenues on Sunday around 9:30 p.m.

Authorities described Cabrera as 5-foot-6, 130 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a gray Ninja Turtles sweatshirt and black sweatpants.

Authorities said Cabrera has a medical condition that can cause him to become easily confused.

SAFE Alerts have replaced Silver Alerts in Arizona as a way to spread the word about missing persons who are 65 and older and missing persons who have dementia or developmental/cognitive disabilities.
