Detectives are investigating an east Phoenix apartment after they found two adult women dead with gunshot wounds on Thursday morning.

PHOENIX — Detectives are investigating an east Phoenix apartment after they found two adult women dead with gunshot wounds on Thursday morning.
At around 9 a.m., police responded to a 911 call from an employee who works at the apartment building located near 24th and Willetta streets.
When allowed into the apartment, police saw two women with “apparent gunshot wounds,” the Phoenix Police Department said.
The women were identified on Saturday as 38-year-old Tiwayla Spencer and 36-year-old Marquisha Williams.
