3-vehicle crash kills 1, causes traffic closure in Mesa

PHOENIX — One person is dead after a three-vehicle collision in Mesa on Friday morning, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety.

The crash caused an extended closure of the eastbound Country Club Road off-ramp to US 60, DPS said.

The Arizona Department of Transportation first announced the closure at 5:20 a.m.

Motorists are encouraged to find alternate routes.

There is no estimated time for the off-ramp to reopen.
