Man dead following crash in Phoenix involving city bus
A man is dead following a crash involving a city bus on Saturday night, authorities said.

PHOENIX — A man is dead following a crash involving a city bus on Saturday night, authorities said.
According to the Phoenix Police Department, officers responded to a crash around 10:22 p.m. near Van Buren Street and 30th Avenue.
Upon arrival, officers found two vehicles involved in the crash, including a city bus.
The driver of the vehicle, who police believe collided into the back of the bus, was found in critical condition. He was taken to a hospital, where he later died.
Authorities said they believe the man was driving eastbound on Van Buren Street when he failed to slow down and collided with the back of the city bus.
An investigation remains ongoing. No other information was made available.
