Man arrested after allegedly stabbing another man to death in north Phoenix

PHOENIX — A man was arrested after allegedly stabbing another man to death in north Phoenix on Monday, according to authorities.
Police responded to a reported stabbing in north Phoenix near Cave Creek Road and Union Hills Drive around 11 p.m. on Monday.
After arriving, authorities found Henry Lawrence, a 54-year-old male who had been stabbed.
Emergency services took Lawrence to the hospital, where he later died.
Authorities said the suspect, 41-year-old Matthew Fain, was located near the area was then taken into custody and later interviewed by detectives. He was charged with first degree murder after being taken to Maricopa County Jail.
No other information was made available.
The case is an ongoing investigation.
