Main Street Minute: Dental group offering free services on Labor Day

• A local dental group is celebrating Labor Day with its sixth annual Labor of Love. Risas Dental & Braces will provide free dental services today at all 11 of its Valley locations. From 8 a.m. until noon, patients can select from one of four free services: basic teeth cleaning, cavity filling, tooth extraction or a complete exam with x-rays.

• Phoenix Mercury star Brittney Griner teamed up with X-Factor members to raise more than $66,000 for Hurricane Harvey relief efforts through their “Sunday is for Houston” fundraising campaign. Griner is a Houston native.

• NALS Apartment Homes just shelled out more than $45 million for 336 apartments in Avondale. According to Business Real Estate Weekly, NALS bough the Versante Luxury Rentals near Avondale Boulevard and Van Buren Street.
