Loop 202 westbound lanes reopen in Chandler after fatal accident

PHOENIX – After being closed for several hours on Saturday morning, the westbound lanes of Loop 202 Santan were reopened in Chandler just before noon, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.

The closure was due to a crash near Price Road.

One person was killed in the multiple-vehicle, rollover crash, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety.

No additional information about the accident has been released.

During the closure, traffic was diverted to Loop 101 Price northbound.
