A reality series following parents of youth baseball players at a Scottsdale training academy will premiere Sept. 24 on Paramount+, the streaming service announced.
“Team Moms: Baseball,” executive produced by Kim Kardashian, markets itself as a show focused on the grandstands instead of the ball field.
The show is set at Legendary Prep Academy, a baseball development school in the Scottsdale Airpark.
Open for just 18 months, the academy says it has placed 12 players at the college or professional level. Its staff includes head coach Mark Karaviotis, a former Oregon infielder and three-time minor league all-star and hitting coordinator Joe Dunigan, a talent scout for the Houston Astros.
Amenities pitched to families include daily meals, an on-site barber and professional-grade training technology.
“We knew immediately there was something special about this world,” Kardashian and fellow executive producer Natalie Ento said in a statement to Deadline. “These families are passionate, competitive and completely all in when it comes to their kids, and sometimes what happens in the stands is just as intense as what happens on the field.”
The cast includes Trish Mears, whose husband, Casey, is a professional race car driver.
The series is produced by ITV America, the production company behind “Love Island USA,” along with Kim Kardashian Productions and Skydance Sports.
