US 60/Grand Avenue closed in both directions in Phoenix after motorcycle crash

US 60/Grand Avenue in Phoenix was closed in both directions Wednesday morning after a crash between a vehicle and a motorcycle.

The crash took place around 7 a.m. at 23rd and Grand avenues., according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.

US 60 (Grand Ave) is CLOSED in both directions in Phoenix.

The closure is due to a crash at milepost 161 near Encanto Blvd.

The Phoenix Fire Department brought the motorcyclist, who had life-threatening injuries, to a hospital.

There was no estimated time for the roadway to reopen.
