Husband indicted after his wife dies at long-term care facility in East Valley
A man was indicted Monday for the death of his wife at a long-term care facility in Gilbert earlier this month, officials said.

PHOENIX — A man was indicted Monday for the death of his wife at a long-term care facility in Gilbert earlier this month, officials said.
Justin Davidson, 46, was indicted on one count of first-degree murder, according to the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office.
Davidson was arrested after his wife, 58-year-old Danielle Crosbie-Davidson, was found dead in her room at Eternal Springs of Gilbert, where she was being treated for advanced dementia, on June 11.
Details on husband indicted for wife’s death
Gilbert police was called to the hospice care facility just after 9 a.m. by staff who noticed that Crosbie-Davidson had “suspicious bruising and markings” when she was found dead that morning around 3 a.m.
Staff told officers that Davidson was staying in the room at the time of her death.
When detectives interviewed Davidson he reportedly made admissions about his “direct involvement” in his wife’s death.
Davidson is being held on a $1 million bond and his trial is tentatively scheduled for February 2026.

Very sad. I would wager that the facts do not indicate a first-degree murder, some sort
of plea deal likely before trial would be my guess. Facts are lacking at this point
