Phoenix water park Hurricane Harbor opens for 2026 season

PHOENIX — Arizonans looking for a fun way to cool off are in luck as Hurricane Harbor Phoenix, a water park, opens for the 2026 season on Saturday.

The water park, which is located near 43rd Avenue and Pinnacle Peak Road, opens to the public at 11 a.m. and its season concludes on Sept. 27.

Parts of the park have been refreshed and repainted, according to a news release. New shaded seating has also been added across the park, and the seating at Tidal Wave Cafe, the park’s main eatery, has been doubled.

The water park’s July 4th celebration will also be expanded to mark the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. However, specific details have yet to be released.

A single-day ticket starts at $35 on the park’s website. Hurricane Harbor offers discounted tickets for military members and first responders.

For those wanting to visit the park multiple times, there are a few different season pass options they can choose from. The passes are currently on sale until Sunday.
