PHOENIX – A Fortune 500 homebuilder has unveiled a luxury West Valley community, with a new private golf course on the way.
Toll Brothers held a ribbon-cutting ceremony Friday for phase one of Sterling Grove, a 780-acre master-planned neighborhood west of Loop 303 in Surprise.
Grand opening events are set for Saturday and Sunday. Sterling Grove is located at Cotton Lane and Cactus Road, with the sales office at 17193 W. Montpelier St.
The infrastructure is in place, and 13 model homes are open.
An 18-hole course designed by golf legend Jack Nicklaus and a 35,000-square-foot clubhouse are under construction, with work scheduled for completion in January 2021.
In addition to the private course and more than 2,000 single-family homes, the community will feature pools, a fitness center and pickleball and tennis courts.
The neighborhood will also have four parks and a town square gathering space.
The one- and two-story houses range from around 1,500 square feet to more than 4,000 square feet, with 31 designs. Starting prices span from the mid-$300,000s to the mid-$600,000s.
Pennsylvania-based Toll Brothers was No. 428 on the 2019 Fortune 500 list of the biggest U.S. companies.
