Heard Museum in Phoenix earns accolades from 2 influential outlets

PHOENIX – A museum in the heart of Phoenix is being lauded as must-see destination for travelers.

The Heard Museum, a showcase for Native American art, recently earned accolades from two influential outlets.

U.S. News & World Report named it one of the 26 best museums in the country. Additionally, the museum at 2301 N. Central Ave. received a 2025 Travelers’ Choice Award from TripAdvisor.

The Heard Museum earned a spot on the U.S. News & World Report list, which isn’t ranked, alongside heavyweights such as the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, D.C., Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland and The Getty in Los Angeles.

Meanwhile, the Travelers’ Choice Award is reserved for the top 10% of things to do worldwide, based on visitor reviews submitted to TripAdvisor over a 12-month period.

“Ranking among the top percentage of businesses globally means you have made such a memorable impact on your visitors that many of them took time to go online and leave a glowing review about their experience. We hope this recognition continues to drive business to you in 2025 and beyond,” Kristen Dalton, the travel platform’s president, said in a press release.
