The Original Phoenix Greek Festival has been bringing the culture of Greece to the Valley for more than six decades.

The 65th anniversary edition of the popular annual celebration takes place this weekend at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral campus at 1973 E. Maryland Ave.

The family-friendly festival is open from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. Friday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.

The Original Phoenix Greek Festival’s food, beverages, music, dancing and vendors draw big crowds every year.

There’s also an area with rides for kids (wristbands sold onsite).

In addition, the iconic cathedral, which is adorned with one-of-a-kind stained glass, will be open at select times for tours.
