Bicyclist hospitalized after collision with vehicle in Glendale
A Glendale bicycle crash has left a person hospitalized due to critical injuries, police said. Bethany Home Road is closed from 63rd to 67th avenues.

PHOENIX — A collision between a bicyclist and a vehicle left a woman hospitalized on Tuesday morning, authorities said.
The Glendale bicycle crash occurred near 63rd Avenue and Bethany Home Road around 3:15 a.m., according to the Glendale Police Department.
Due to the crash, Bethany Home Road is closed to all vehicle traffic from 67th Avenue to 63rd Avenue.
The bicyclist was unconscious and had serious, life-threatening injuries when police arrived on the scene. First responders brought them to a hospital.
The vehicle driver stayed on the scene and was found not to be impaired, police said.
Before the crash, the bicyclist was traveling on the eastbound sidewalk when it entered the roadway and was hit by the vehicle, police said.
No further details were made available as this is an ongoing investigation.
