Details released for Mesa firefighter’s funeral services
The funeral services for longtime Mesa firefighter, Mark Keller, will begin Wednesday evening.

PHOENIX — The funeral services for longtime Mesa firefighter Mark Keller will begin Wednesday evening.
Keller, 62, was found dead last week while on duty, according to Mesa Fire and Medical Department.
Keller worked as a firefighter in Mesa for 35 years.
East Valley Firefighter Charities created a GoFundMe to help Keller’s family.
Details on Mesa firefighter funeral arrangements
Keller’s viewing will take place on Wednesday at Bunker Family Funeral Home Garden Chapel from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The procession will take place on Thursday beginning 8:15 a.m. at the funeral home. It will follow this route:
- Centennial Way to First Street
- First Street to Mesa Drive
- Mesa Drive to US 60
- US 60 to Power Road
- Power Road to Elliot Road
- Elliot Road to Cactus Yards Way
The procession will end at Mission Community Church. Funeral services at the church are scheduled to start 10 a.m. Doors will open at 9:40 a.m.
Mesa Mayor Mark Freeman, a retired fire captain paramedic, worked alongside Keller for years.
“I had the privilege of witnessing his dedication to our community firsthand,” Freeman said in the announcement. “I extend my heartfelt condolences to the Keller family, his crew and all members of the Mesa Fire and Medical Department. Mark’s legacy will continue to inspire us all.
