Crash closes eastbound I-10 in West Valley during rush hour

PHOENIX — A crash closed eastbound Interstate 10 in the West Valley during rush hour on Thursday.

The incident occurred near Litchfield Road at about 4:30 p.m., according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.

All traffic had to exit at Estrella Parkway.

The freeway was reopened at about 8 p.m.

The westbound lanes were not affected by the crash.
