A new hotel is coming to the Talking Stick Resort Entertainment District and will be within walking distance of the Arizona Boardwalk attractions.

The Arizona Boardwalk broke ground on the Hyatt Place Hotel at Talking Stick Resort, as the entertainment destination continues to grow its vision of becoming the Grand Canyon State’s premier multi-day family getaway.

The hotel is located “adjacent” to the Arizona Boardwalk along the Loop 101, minutes away from Talking Stick Resort and Golf Club, iFLY Indoor Skydiving and other popular attractions, a news release said. It will contain four stories with 142 rooms to serve the increasing demand from travelers across Arizona and nationwide.

The hotel will feature a lobby bar and lounge, breakfast and dining area, meeting space, fitness center, outdoor pool and about 230 parking spaces.

It will also have a signature aquarium in the lobby, as a nod to the OdySea Aquarium just up the road.

The groundbreaking of the new hotel is a step in the direction toward the nearly 50 additional acres planned for future family-friendly entertainment, dining and other experiences at the Arizona Boardwalk.
