One Arizona lottery player who purchased a Powerball ticket became $50,000 richer on Wednesday.

One Arizona lottery player who purchased a Powerball ticket became $50,000 richer Wednesday.

According to the Arizona Lottery, the winning ticket was sold at a Circle K near Northern Arizona University’s campus in Flagstaff close to the intersection of Milton Road and McConnell Drive.

The winning numbers in Wednesday night’s drawing were 22, 31, 52, 56, 67, and the Powerball was 15.

To win the $50,000, the tickets needed to match four numbers and the Powerball. The odds of winning the prize are one in 913,129.

When is the next Powerball drawing?

Powerball is a nationwide game of chance with drawings on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays.

The jackpot for Saturday’s drawing is an estimated $86 million.

Tickets cost $2 each and can be purchased at more than 3,000 locations statewide.

The winners have 180 days from the date of the drawing to claim their winnings.
