Officers learned that Harry took a turn off the road and drove on 50 feet of railroad tracks before realizing an oncoming train was headed toward him, according to police.

Harry couldn’t get his truck off the tracks and instead jumped out of his car on foot just before the impact, according to police.

His initial blood alcohol content came back at more than three times the legal limit of 0.08, according to police.

Harry was charged with DUI and could face other charges depending on the damages.

BNSF Railway stopped all trains from traveling on the section of tracks where the crash occurred, police said.

An inspector checked the tracks and train for damages.

No injuries were reported in the crash.
