Arizona Ghost Town Museum built in 1895 listed for $1.1 million

PHOENIX — The Arizona Ghost Town Museum established out of a general store that was built in 1895 in Pearce is listed on the market for $1.1 million.

The Old Pearce Mercantile was listed in the National Register of Historic Places in 1978 as the longest running business in the once mining town.

The two-story adobe structure was fully restored by artists who used materials reflective of the late 19th century in 2019, according to the listing.

The gateway to another era has been a location to find antiques, furnishings and collectables in Cochise County.

“The possibilities for this property are endless: home, business, museum, event location (wedding venue), or even wine tasting room and store,” the listing states.

The property also includes a working blacksmith shop, storage areas, a ramada, iron fencing, gates, and a brick courtyard.

Furnished living quarters are in the rear of the store.

The property, which is approximately 85 miles southeast of downtown Tucson, is listed as a single family residence at 27,745.77 square feet, 0.64 acres.

The structure has central air conditioning and ceiling fans.

Its listing date is June 2.
