Police search for gray Audi after dead body found in south Phoenix

PHOENIX — An area in south Phoenix was closed after a dead body was found on Saturday morning, authorities said.

According to the Phoenix Police Department, officers responded to the area of 23rd Avenue and Baseline Road for reports of a dead body around 9:04 a.m.

When police arrived on scene, they reportedly located an 21-year-old Latwan Xavier Dossie who had signs that he was possibly hit by a car.

Police said the Phoenix Fire Department responded and pronounced Dossie dead.

Detectives believe that a gray-colored Audi could have been involved in the crash

An investigation is underway.
