2-year-old dies after being pulled from Gilbert pool
A two-year-old has died after a drowning incident in Gilbert on Wednesday, authorities said.

PHOENIX — A two-year-old has died after a drowning incident in Gilbert on Wednesday, authorities said.
At around 7:30 p.m., officers responded to a call near the 1600 block of Leah Lane, according to a Gilbert news release.
Upon arrival, police found the child unresponsive after family members pulled the child from a pool and performed CPR.
Police took over life-saving efforts until the two-year-old was taken to a hospital where the child later died.
The investigation into the incident remains ongoing.
