PHOENIX — Construction is underway on a Mountainside Fitness located in Queen Creek near Vineyard Towne Center, officials announced Tuesday.

Expected to open late 2025, the location will span 42,000 square feet across the street from the shopping center near Gantzel and Combs roads.

“We are excited to open … our furthest southeast Valley fitness center to date,” CEO Craig Cote said in a press release. “This is an area of the Valley where we are seeing a substantial amount of growth and the community response has been tremendous.”

It will be the 22nd completed location for the Arizona fitness chain and the second in Queen Creek. The first is about five miles northwest.

What features will Queen Creek Mountainside Fitness location offer attendees?

The fitness chain said the Queen Creek location will be laid out similarly to its Scottsdale, Paradise Valley and Frank Lloyd Wright locations.

It will offer three group studios, a tiered cardio platform, a strength area with outdoor availability and a large kids area. Other amenities include upscaled locker rooms with a sauna, steam room and cold plunges.

Visitors can join a celebration before the new gym opens, and there will be special offers available during the event.

The company is hiring staff for the upcoming location.
