A Texas barbecue brand is staking out a spot in Old Town Scottsdale, with Terry Black’s BBQ buying a full city block for $11.2 million ahead of its Arizona debut.
The property at the corner of Brown Avenue and Main Street spans three-quarters of an acre containing more than 10,000 square feet of existing buildings, according to LevRose Commercial Real Estate, which announced the sale Tuesday.
Terry Black’s specializes in Central Texas-style barbecue. This would be the restaurants only location outside of Texas and Nashville.
“Its full-block scale, visibility and location made it an exceptionally rare offering,” LevRose partners Danielle Davis said in a statement.
The announcement did not announce an opening date for the restaurant.
