Flooding closes highway between Maricopa and Gila Bend
While State Route 238 is shut down in both directions from Ralston Road to SR 85, motorists can us I-8 as a detour.

The state highway between Maricopa and Gila Bend is closed due to flooding, authorities said Monday.
State Route 238 is shut down in both directions from Ralston Road in Maricopa to SR 85 in Gila Bend, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.

Motorists can use Interstate 8 as a detour between Maricopa and Gila Bend while SR 238 closed.
ADOT did not say how long the highway would remain closed.
