PHOENIX – The westbound Loop 202 Red Mountain Freeway reopened in Mesa on Thursday after a crash, authorities said.
The closure went into effect around 5:45 p.m. due to a crash near Gilbert Road. The closure was lifted just after 8 pm.
The eastbound lanes were unaffected.
Drivers were told to expect extra time for the congestion to clear.
