Man arrested in connection with deadly Phoenix shooting in January
A man was arrested Friday night in connection with a January homicide in Phoenix after an extensive investigation.

PHOENIX — A man was arrested Friday night in connection with a January homicide in Phoenix.
Phoenix Police Detectives located and arrested 33-year-old Anthony Bracy with assistance from the Special Assignment Unit, a Friday press release said.
Detectives booked Bracy into the Maricopa County Jail on charges related to the case.
What happened leading to the Friday arrest in Phoenix?
The Friday arrest was the continuation of an investigation into a deadly shooting on Jan. 17.
Officers responded to a shots-fired call in the area of 27th Avenue and Hazelwood Street. Police arrived to find an adult male with at least one gunshot wound.
The injured man, identified as 44-year-old Steven Stone Jr., was transported to a nearby hospital and pronounced dead.
