Center Court Pickleball Club launching 4th Valley venue with free grand opening in Scottsdale

Center Court Pickleball Club is officially opening its fourth indoor location in the Valley, inviting the public to celebrate with a day of free play, prizes and festivities in Scottsdale.

The grand opening celebration for Center Court Scottsdale Shea will take place Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Located near Loop 101 and Shea Boulevard at 10220 N. 90th St., the 35,000-square-foot facility serves as both a public venue and the company’s corporate headquarters and training center.

What to expect at the grand celebration

Members get early access to 13 tournament-sized indoor courts for free open play alongside invited guests from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

The public doors open at 11 a.m., followed by a ribbon-cutting ceremony hosted by the Scottsdale Chamber of Commerce at 11:15 a.m.

The half-day public event features free open play, vendor showcases, on-court competitions and complimentary food and drinks.

Attendees who RSVP online and attend the event will be entered into raffle drawings for prizes, including:

• One 6-month Center Court membership
• Two 3-month memberships
• Three 6-week clinics (for two people each)
• Four “Play With a Pro” sessions (for the winner and two guests)

Additional competition prizes will be handed out throughout the afternoon.

Facilities and amenities

The new Scottsdale Shea location was built with tournament-quality courts, upward-facing lighting designed to reduce glare and custom acoustics to dampen noise.

In addition to court space, the facility includes locker rooms, recovery equipment like Power Plates, wellness amenities and a dedicated member lounge with complimentary coffee drinks. The space is also designed to host corporate events, team-building activities and private training sessions.

“Scottsdale is home for Center Court, so opening our club here at Shea and the Loop 101, and our fourth in the Valley, was very important and personal to our team,” Center Court CEO Tim Keightley said in a release. “We did not simply want to build more courts. Our goal was to take everything our members and team had taught us from our first three clubs and build an even better experience. Shea is the result of that.”
