Interstate 10 reopens after crash south of metro Phoenix

PHOENIX — The eastbound lanes of Interstate 10 reopened overnight after a crash south of metro Phoenix, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.

The crash occurred near Casa Blanca Road (mile post 176) around 8:40 p.m. Wednesday, ADOT said.

I-10 eastbound is closed at Casa Blanca Rd (mp 176) due to a crash.

Expect delays. There is no estimated time to reopen.

The freeway was opened again in time for Thursday morning’s commute.
