Woman, teen girl hospitalized, suspect at large after Avondale shooting
A woman and a teenage girl were hospitalized, and the suspect remains at large after an Avondale shooting on Friday night.

PHOENIX — A woman and a teenage girl were hospitalized, and the suspect remains at large after an Avondale shooting on Friday night.
Avondale police received a call regarding gunshots near 111th Avenue and Buckeye Road around 11:50 p.m.
Upon arrival, police found two injured people in the area, authorities said. An adult woman suffered from what appeared to be a gunshot wound to her calf, while a 17-year-old girl suffered from what appeared to be a gunshot wound to her hand.
Both victims were taken to a nearby hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries, authorities said.
The suspect has not been identified, according to police.
The investigation remains ongoing, and no other information was made available.
