PHOENIX – Scottsdale-based Goldwater Brewing Co. recently announced plans to open a new location in Gilbert.
The award-winning beermaker’s second brewery and fourth taproom will be located at 685 S. Gilbert Road, a little north of Warner Road.
Mesa-based Cider Corps previously operated a brewery and taproom at the property, which Goldwater Brewing purchased for $3.8 million in September, according to the Phoenix Business Journal.
“The plans are in motion, the layout’s looking dialed in and we couldn’t be more excited to bring Goldwater to the heart of Gilbert,” the business said on social media earlier this month.
When will Goldwater Brewing open in Gilbert?
The new venue is expected to open in early 2026.
Goldwater Brewing started producing and serving beer in Old Town Scottsdale in 2015. It opened a second taproom in east Mesa in 2020 and expanded to south Tempe in 2023.
In 2024, the brewery’s Oats M’gotes oatmeal stout won a bronze medal at the prestigious World Beer Cup.
