PHOENIX — Formation Brewing, a new taproom and gathering place at Roosevelt Row in Phoenix, opened its doors to visitors ahead of a grand opening celebration next month.
Designed around a sunken seating area in the middle of the 10,000-square-foot space, Formation features a 110-seat dining room and an upstairs bar. There are also views of the brewing process and its 19 tanks.
“Formation Brewing is more than a place to grab a pint; it’s a place to connect,” CEO Eric Foster said. “We’ve poured intention into every detail, and we’re proud to share this space with the Roosevelt Row community.”
The brewery program is led by Head Brewer Sam Townsend, a two-time gold medalist at the Great American Beer Festival.
The kitchen is centered around shareables, salads, sandwiches, burgers and Detroit-style pizzas. Signature options include smoked elote dip, crispy desert tanglers, smoked pork nachos, jalepeno caesar salads and more.
The grand opening celebration is set for Nov. 8 at the 925 N. Fifth St. location, and it will feature live music, giveaways and more.
