The eastbound lanes of Interstate 10 reopened after a crash west of Phoenix on Friday afternoon, authorities said.

PHOENIX — The eastbound lanes of Interstate 10 reopened after a crash west of Phoenix on Friday afternoon, authorities said.

The closure went into effect around 4 p.m. on the I-10 at Verrado Way, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT).

The closure was lifted just before 6 p.m.

The westbound lanes were unaffected by the crash.
