Chandler Police ask public for help in finding arson suspect

PHOENIX — The Chandler Police Department is looking for an arson suspect, who is accused of setting a home on fire earlier this month.

Oscar Sanchez, 61, is suspected of setting a home on fire after orders of protection were placed against him, according to police.

On May 4 just after 7 a.m., a home caught fire near the area of 400 E. Tremaine Drive.

Five people were inside the home at the time, including three individuals with active protective orders against Sanchez.

Anyone with any information about Sanchez is asked to call Chandler Police Department at 480-782-4130.
