Westbound Interstate 10 reopens after deadly crash at Avondale Boulevard

PHOENIX – Westbound Interstate 10 reopened in the West Valley after a deadly crash Thursday morning, authorities said.

The freeway had been closed due to a collision at Avondale Boulevard in Avondale, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.

One person was killed in the crash, which involved three vehicles, the Arizona Department of Public Safety said.
