PHOENIX – A man who pleaded guilty to killing four people in metro Phoenix was sentenced last week to spend the rest of his life behind bars.

Julian Anthony Perry, 25, robbed and killed his victims after luring them on the premise of buying drugs, the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office said in a press release Wednesday.

Last month, Perry pleaded guilty to four counts of first-degree murder, three counts of armed robbery with a deadly weapon and two counts of conspiracy to commit armed robbery.

On Oct. 20, a Maricopa County Superior Court judge sentenced him to four life sentences, with no chance for release until he serves 75 years in prison.

He was admitted into the Eyman State Prison in Florence this week, according to Arizona Department of Corrections, Rehabilitation and Reentry records.

The murders occurred during three incidents in 2017 and 2018 in central Phoenix and the West Valley, according to prosecutors.

“These violent crimes changed the lives of numerous families forever,” Interim Maricopa County Attorney Rachel Mitchell said in the release. “Ensuring that this dangerous individual is removed from society will make our community a safer place.”
