PHOENIX — The annual Chandler Ostrich Festival has been postponed for a second time due to coronavirus concerns, organizers announced Friday.

“The safety of our community is our top priority,” the group said in a Twitter post.

The 32nd edition of the festival, which was re-scheduled to run this upcoming March, will be moved to the fall. New dates are being determined by the event’s organizers.

The festival was created in 1988 to celebrate Chandler’s history of ostrich ranching, according to its website.

Adult tickets are $15. Tickets for seniors and children 4-12 years old cost $8, and admission is free for children younger than 4.
