VooDoo Daddy’s Steam Kitchen bringing cajun flavor to Tempe

PHOENIX — A cajun-themed restaurant concept by national restaurateur Ron Lynch is opening in Tempe on Thursday.

VooDoo Daddy’s Steam Kitchen is the concept of owner and founder, Lynch, who began to acquire restaurants in 2005 and has been featured on the television show “Undercover Boss.”

“We are excited about our location and have really put a lot of work into this menu,” Lynch said in a press release.

The menu includes a variety of po’boys and seafood platters as well as gumbo, jambalaya and chicken entrees. 

Located near the corner of Elliot Road and Priest Drive, VooDoo Daddy’s exterior is painted bright yellow with the restaurant’s name in bold red lettering.

There is a food counter for customers to place orders and a main dining area, which features high top counters.

Part of the proceeds on the restaurant’s grand opening Thursday will go to the Tempe Diablos nonprofit organization.
