PHOENIX — Authorities said they have found the body of an Arizona woman whose disappearance activated a Silver Alert last month.

According to the Casa Grande Dispatch, the family of Bonnie Webb was notified Tuesday that her remains were found on the Tohono O’odham Nation in southern Arizona.

A Silver Alert was activated for the 64-year-old Arizona City woman on April 2.

She was last seen when she left her daughter’s home around 10:30 p.m. March 31. Webb texted her daughter around 12:30 a.m. April 1, saying she somehow ended up in Maricopa.

Webb’s purple 1995 Chevy pickup truck was found April 4 in the desert near Indian Route 15 and Indian Route 34 on the reservation.

The family told the paper that Webb’s body was found about 2 miles south of where the truck was located.

An autopsy will be done to determine her cause of death.

The Tohono O’odham Nation is a large area of tribal land spanning from central Arizona to the southern border.
